Our Story

A family, a stretch of beach, and a slow-built dream

Blue Turtle Resort isn't a corporate development. It's a piece of family land in Cambutal that we're turning, carefully, into a place for travelers to stay and fish.

The land

Our family owns a piece of beachfront land in Cambutal, at the southern edge of Panama's Azuero Peninsula in Los Santos province. It's a remote, beautiful stretch of Pacific coast — the kind of place where the surf is uncrowded, the fishing is excellent, and sea turtles still nest along the shore.

What we're creating

We're building a small resort: comfortable beachfront rentals and guided fishing charters. Nothing oversized or out of place — just a well-run, welcoming base for people who want to experience this corner of Panama the way we love it. We're taking our time to do it right and in keeping with the surroundings.

Why we're sharing this now

Construction is still ahead of us, so we don't have rooms to book yet — and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Instead, we're starting with something useful: honest travel guides to Cambutal and the Azuero, and a waitlist for travelers who'd like to be the first to know when we open.

Our promise

When we say something is ready, it will be. Until then, we hope our guides help you plan a great trip to this remarkable coast — whether or not you ever stay with us.

Follow along as we build

Join the waitlist for one honest update when our rentals and charters are ready.

No spam, ever. Just one note when we're ready to welcome guests.
